All round coarse fishing enthusiast!
I have been fishing since I could hold a rod and consider myself to be a pretty good all rounder. I am by no means an expert in any area of coarse fishing but do enjoy contributing to debates regarding contempory issues in our sport. I can become quite hot headed and let my heart rule my head at times if something really gets my goat but this will only be through putting what I feel to be anglings best interests first.

I am a L2 'first for sport' angling coach which I enjoy applying in my work as a professional Youth-worker. Angling has given me so much in my life, the friendships I have made and the memories that we share. As it has for many, angling kept me very much on the straight and narrow when I was growing up, keeping me out of trouble for a lot of the time.

As I got older, my passion grew and so did my dedication to the sport. I love learning more and more about all things fishing and sharing tips and advice with fellow enthusiasts.

Over the last 5 seasons, I have very much put most of my focus on Barbel fishing which really does hold a place in my heart however a lot of my fishing time these days is spent coaching young beginners on commercials 'getting them hooked the same as I was'.
